for a few times对吗

老师你好，for后面接时间，也可以接次数吗？

some times 和 a few times/several times 前面也会看到加 for 的状况，这个如何理解呢？

不可以用for。“基数词/数目词+times”表示“多少次”，可直接用作状语，不与介词for搭配。比如：

I met him four times / a few times. 我遇见他四次（几次）。

▲“序数词+time”表示“第几次”，可用介词for，也可省略。

Mr. Smith just gotmarried the second time. 史密斯先生刚刚再婚。
